Άστορ Πιατσόλα- ΑΡΓΕΝΤΙΝΗ

Το τάνγκο είναι ένας παραδοσιακός αργεντίνικος χορός που αναπτύχθηκε κυρίως στην περιοχή του Ρίο ντε λα Πλάτα.   

Ο Άστορ Πιατσόλα γεννήθηκε στην Αργεντινή το 1921 και θεωρείται ο πιο σημαντικός συνθέτης τάνγκο. Συνδύασε στις συνθέσεις του στοιχεία από: τζαζ και κλασσική μουσική κι έτσι δημιούργησε το νέο τάνγκο (nuevo tango).

Η Αραβική μουσική αποτελεί ενα τεράστιο κεφάλαιο στην παγκόσμια μουσική ιστορία. Το παραπάνω τραγούδι είναι ένα μικρό, απειροελάχιστο δείγμα αυτής της τέχνης. Ένα τραγούδι που έχει τραγουδηθεί από πολλούς άραβες καλλιτέχνες και έχει υποστεί πολλές διαφορετικές διασκευές και εκτελέσεις. Στο παραπάνω κομμάτι ερμηνεύεται από τον καταξιωμένο Καναδό κιθαρίστα-συνθέτη-παραγωγό Jesse Cook και μια ταλαντούχα τραγουδίστρια.

Η μουσική της Κάτω Ιταλίας περιλαμβάνει νανουρίσματα, τραγούδια της δουλειάς, θρησκευτικά τραγούδια καθώς και ταραντέλες. Στη μουσική αυτή χρησιμοποιούνται δύο ή περισσότερες φωνές και μουσικά όργανα όπως: κιθάρα, ταμπούρλο, οργκανέτο και ακορντεόν. Η διάλεκτος που είναι γραμμένα τα τραγούδια συνδυάζει την ιταλική αλλά και την ελληνική γλώσσα.

Οι Encardia είναι ένα ελληνικό συγκρότημα παραδοσιακής μουσικής. Ιδρύθηκε το 2004 και το ρεπερτόριό του βασίζεται στη μουσική και τα τραγούδια της Μεσογείου και ιδιαίτερα της Κάτω Ιταλίας, με ταραντέλες, ερωτικά τραγούδια και τραγούδια κοινωνικού περιεχομένου.

"Καλίνκα" ένα από τα πιο γνωστά κι αγαπημένα ρωσικά τραγούδια

Συντέθηκε το 1860 από τον Ρώσο συνθέτη και λαογράφο Ivan Larionov (Иван Петрович Ларионов), και παρουσιάστηκε για πρώτη φορά στην πόλη Saratov (Саратов), ως μέρος μιας θεατρικής του παράστασης. Σύντομα, το τραγούδι προστέθηκε στη λαϊκή παράδοση της Ρωσίας. Η  Καλίνκα, στην οποία αναφέρεται το τραγούδι στην πραγματικότητα είναι ένα είδος ανθοφόρου φυτού.

 Ο Ευάγγελος Οδυσσέας Παπαθανασίου είναι ένας από τους μεγαλύτερους συνθέτες που έχει αναδείξει η Ελλάδα, γνωστός στο εξωτερικό ως Vangelis. Έχει επηρεάσει την ανάπτυξη διαφορετικών μουσικών ειδών, ενώ θεωρείται πρωτεργάτης του ηλεκτρονικού ήχου. Είναι βραβευμένος με Όσκαρ για την μουσική στην ταινία "Οι Δρόμοι της Φωτιάς" το 1982. Επίσης έχει επενδύσει μουσικά πλήθος άλλων κινηματογραφικών ταινιών όπως: "Βlade Runner", "1492: Χριστόφορος Κολόμβος", "Αλέξανδρος", "Ελ Γκρέκο" κ.α.  Το 1997 σκηνοθέτησε την τελετή έναρξης του 6ου Παγκόσμιου Πρωταθλήματος Ανοιχτού Στίβου της IAAF που πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Αθήνα, ενώ το έργο του "Μυθωδία" επελέγη από τη ΝΑΣΑ ως η επίσημη μουσική για την αποστολή της: "2001 Οδύσσεια στον Άρη".

Ο Gerhard Friedle, γεννημένος στις 7 Ιανουαρίου 1971, είναι ένας Αυστριακός καλλιτέχνης και τραγουδιστής, γνωστός από το σκηνικό όνομά του DJ Ötzi και είναι επιτυχής κυρίως στις γερμανόφωνες χώρες. Πρωτοεμφανίστηκε στη σκηνή ως ερασιτέχνης τραγουδιστής καραόκε στην πατρίδα του. Λίγο μετά την έναρξη της καριέρας του ως τραγουδιστής, όμως,  διαγνώστηκε με καρκίνο.
